Get tested for HIV if you have suspicions
When you find out that you have HIV, you will be very shocked and perhaps upset. HIV is very serious and in the future will mean that your body is unable to fight off certain diseases. Fortunately, with the right therapy HIV can be put to rest. This means that HIV does not necessarily have to lead to AIDS and you can lead a relatively normal life. HIV is usually transmitted through unprotected sex. But this is not always the case. If you come into contact with infected blood or an infected wound, you can also become infected.
