How does an STI test work at our clinic?
First, you and your doctor will determine which STI tests you need. This depends on the answers to the questions asked.
A urine test is used to diagnose gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomonas, or mycoplasma in men. Women need a swab test for this. This can be done by yourself or by a doctor. You will receive the test results within two working days.
The STI tests for syphilis, HIV, and hepatitis are performed via blood tests. This means that blood is taken for laboratory testing, after which the results can be viewed within two business days via our online results portal.

I have an STI, now what?
Depending on whether you have contracted an STI, you know whether or not you need to be treated. These results can be consulted online within 2 working days. If the result is negative, you do not need to undergo treatment.
