Do you have an iron deficiency? Find out with an iron deficiency test.

When should you definitely get tested for iron deficiency?

Iron is found in various types of food, such as vegetables, red meat, chicken, eggs, nuts, and legumes. With a normal healthy diet, you will always get enough iron. However, there are some risk groups who would definitely benefit from being tested for iron deficiency, especially if they have symptoms. This applies, for example, to women during their menstrual period, vegetarians and vegans, pregnant women, breastfeeding women, and young children. These target groups are at extra risk of iron deficiency. By getting tested, you can be sure whether you have an iron deficiency and you can take steps to replenish the deficiency. This can be done through a better diet, but also by taking extra supplements or medication if necessary.
