Coronavirus and Onedayclinic
The coronavirus has the Netherlands in its grip, and naturally we are also very concerned about it. Every day we receive many questions from you asking whether we are still open and what measures are being taken. Below we answer the most frequently asked questions.
Can I still visit the OneDayClinic?
Yes, we are open. After extensive consultation, both internally and with the Municipal Health Service (GGD), we have decided to keep our doors open. It is important that people with symptoms have a place to get tested, ask questions, and receive treatment if necessary. We also hope that this will relieve the burden on general practitioners and the GGD as much as possible, as they are currently extremely busy.
Are there any changes to opening hours?
Our highly valued doctors are doing everything they can to help stop the coronavirus. Some are helping out at hospitals, emergency rooms, or with general practitioners. Unfortunately, this means that opening hours have changed at some clinics. Please check online when scheduling an appointment or call our secretary (085 070 3483).
What measures are being taken?
The health of both our patients and our doctors is paramount. We are adhering to additional hygiene measures. We do not shake hands, we wear gloves when taking blood samples, and we maintain a distance of 1.5 meters. We try to avoid contact with patients as much as possible, which also means that we will ask you to take a throat swab yourself if necessary. We wash our hands before and after each patient. The treatment and waiting rooms are also cleaned more frequently.
What can I do myself?
We kindly ask you to arrive exactly on time for your appointment, so that there are not several people in the waiting room. If this is not possible and there is already someone in the waiting room, please maintain a distance of 1.5 meters.
In addition, we kindly request that you come to the appointment alone, if possible.
What if I am ill?
If you are ill, have a fever, cough, or runny nose, we ask that you reschedule your appointment. You can do this by phone or email.
What if the doctor is ill?
Of course, it is also possible that we may become ill. If this happens, we will first try to find a replacement doctor. If this is not possible, you will be notified by telephone or email that the appointment cannot take place.
