How reliable was that one-night stand, really? You want to know where you stand, but where can you go for an anonymous STI test right away? The waiting list at the GGD (Municipal Health Service) is almost impossible to avoid, and your family doctor is also your partner's, your parents', and your neighbors'. You don't want to be recognized there. If you're lucky, you'll have the results after a week. It could also take two or three weeks.

From now on, you can find out within a day whether you have a sexually transmitted disease, without anyone ever finding out. At OneDayClinic, which opened yesterday on Marshallweg in Rotterdam-Alexander, you can visit under a false name. If you pay for the consultation by debit card, no sender will appear on your bank statement.
OneDayClinic is located at Health & More. However, the entrance is separate from the health center. You can enter without being seen.
The Rotterdam branch is a franchise business and is run by Amber Winsveen (24) from Gorinchem. It is the fourth branch of OneDayClinic, founded in 2015 by Amit Atwal (35), after Amsterdam, Den Bosch, and Utrecht. Before that, she worked as a supervisor at the Municipal Health Service (GGD).

A basic test (urine test/smear test) costs €100 at OneDayClinic, and a blood test costs €150. These costs are not covered by any insurance company.

Fifteen percent of Amit Atwal's clients test positive. Those who have contracted HIV are referred to the Municipal Health Service (GGD) if they wish. Other STIs can be treated via OneDayClinic.
